What’s your favorite hobby?

Currently my favorite hobbies are playing board games like Wingspan or Ticket to Ride

and making barbecue.

Any favorite sport teams?

Hands down my favorite team is the Kansas Jayhawks. I also love the Texas Rangers and

whoever is on my Fantasy Football team.

What is one of your favorite Bible verses?

That is hard to narrow down, but for right now I would have to say Romans 8:37-39 “37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,

will be able to separate us from

the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?

I love getting to go on adventures with my wife and two kids and checking out parks, zoos, or Children Museums. I also love getting to spend time with friends and good food.

I love how our church is down to earth and willing to do what they can to really help each other out and that we are willing to try new things and

My name is Justin Hall and I am the preaching minister here at Gatesville Church of Christ.

I’m married to a wonderful, energetic, passionate, christian woman. Michelle and I are empty nesters after raising two boys, Jimmy, and John.

A few things about me…

What is your favorite hobby? Right now I enjoy working with my hands and learning how to do new things. Currently, I am working on an old fishing boat and will learn how to lay fiberglass in the near future.

Any favorite sports teams? I watch the Dallas Cowboys and the Houston Texans! I also enjoy fantasy football, so I have a lot of favorite individual players on other teams.

What is your favorite way to spend the weekend?

It depends on the season. I like fishing and hunting, but I especially like getting out of town to explore new restaurants and activities in

other places with Michelle.

What is one of your favorite Bible verses?

There are so many…. One would be 1 John 4:7-8. 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love
does not know God, because God is love.

These verses remind me of the two greatest commandments to love God and love People.

Loving one another is so important in our world

today and it shows the world that

we are followers of Jesus.

What is one thing you love about our Church?

Our church has so many young families and children. We are truly blessed to have a

noisy worship service every Sunday morning.

The children’s cries and laughter are a joyful noise that represents new life and a living and growing church. I also love that our church doesn’t compete with other Jesus followers.
We are non sectarian and love and fellowship with other faith traditions in our community.
